The Merkato is a family-run business based in Bremen, specializing in high-quality spices, black seed oil, as well as cosmetic and care products. Our products are carefully crafted using traditional methods in Ethiopia — a country renowned for its rich culture, fertile soils, and centuries-old craftsmanship.
Our spices and oils come directly from the sun-drenched regions of Ethiopia and are distinguished by their purity, intensity, and authentic flavor. We take particular pride in our cold-pressed black seed oil, valued for its exceptional quality and high content of valuable nutrients. Our cosmetic and care products also blend Ethiopian traditions with modern demands for naturality and efficacy.
